About VetCerti
We build veterinary compliance software, and we run our company the same way our customers run theirs.
VetCerti exists because OSHA compliance in a veterinary practice is a real job that nobody was hired to do. It gets done in binders and when documents are actually needed, someone is usually scrambling to see what is current or needs to be done.
We know that because we have been that person. Handed the compliance binder on top of the job we were actually hired for, told to keep it current, and left to work out what current even meant. None of it was difficult. It was just never anyone's real job, so it was always the thing that slipped.
We are a small business. That is not a marketing line, it is the reason the product works the way it does. Our pricing is public and set by practice size, because we have been on the other side of a quote request. We answer our own phone, and we answer your questions in the manner we would like our questions answered.
We all have pets, and some of us farm. We like this industry, and we like working with the people in it.
You want to get things right, and you would rather be doing almost anything than paperwork. So we built for veterinary practices specifically, rather than a general compliance tool you would have to translate. The standards we track, the training we assign, and the letters we annotate are the ones that apply to you.
We keep the records a veterinary practice is required to keep. Safety data sheets that update themselves from your distributor purchases. Role-based OSHA and safety training, with every completion tracked. Policies with version control and employee sign-off. Incidents that fill in your OSHA 300 log as you log them. Licenses and CE credits with renewal reminders before anything lapses.
We read the OSHA interpretation letters that apply to veterinary practices and publish our reading of them, annotated and organized by the standards and regulatory body. It is free, it is public, and you do not need to be a customer to use it. Read the letters.
Practices in over 30 states use VetCerti. If you would rather talk to a person than fill in a form, call 256-410-3422, or send us a note and one of us will answer it.
